FAQs

Got a question? We’re here to help.
  • How do I choose the dumpster size?

Roughly, if you are remodeling a kitchen and bathroom, the tear out debris from those rooms can easily fit into the large dump trailer. The trailer can roughly hold 3.5 tons.

  • How do I load the dump trailer?

This is a great question! To get the most out of your rental, load the trailer like you would if you were moving.

Start at the front of the trailer (closest to the hitch) and pile or stack neatly moving closer towards the doors.

Heaviest items should be placed closest to the hitch.

Lighter items closet to the doors.

  • Can I just throw anything you want to get rid of into the trailer?

    Another excellent question. Yes!

    Except for the items listed below which include;

    -Tires

    -TVs

    -Computers

    -Car batteries

    -Household trash

    -liquids of any kind

    -Paint

    -Toxic or flammable items

If you have clean dirt, cement, tile or rock, we do prefer you keep those items seperate as we can recycle those.

  • Will Dumpster Kings take cement, tile and dirt?

Yes! We can and please just let us know so we can direct you on how to load it onto the trailer.

  • Can I just toss everything over the sides?

No. Please use the very large and wide doors to place the items into the trailer. You might not only damage the trailer which could be costly, you might damage yourself in the process. These trailers are tough but they can be damaged.

  • Can items hang over the sides?

No. Everything you place in the trailer must fit in the trailer. If you have items that hang over the sides, we will have to ask you to rearrange so they fit inside the four walls. By law, we must cover the top with the tarp to safely drive on the street.

  • What if I go over a ton?

Your rental includes one free ton. If you do happen to go over that is fine, we will simply charge you for an overage fee of $80.00 per ton, and we will round to the nearest half ton. Example, your weight ticket is 1.39 tons, we will charge you an overage fee of $40.00.

  • What if I rent the trailer for a week and I fill it, but still have more items to dump?

Just give us a call and we will come dump it for you. We will charge a swap fee of 50% of your rental fee and an additional dump fee of $80.00. So, if you rented the small trailer for one week at $400.00, and we need to come swap it on day three, we would charge a fee of $280.00.
